Welcome to OfflinePrivate AI. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use our on-device AI chat application. The core principle of OfflinePrivate AI is simple: your data never leaves your phone.

2. Data We Collect

We collect no personal data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No account registration required
• No name, email address, or phone number collected
• No location data collected
• No device identifiers collected or transmitted
• No chat messages or conversation history transmitted anywhere
• No documents or files you upload are sent outside your device

3. How the AI Works — Fully On-Device

All artificial intelligence inference in OfflinePrivate AI runs entirely on your iPhone using downloaded model files (GGUF format). This includes:

• Google Gemma 4 — runs locally on your device
• Meta Llama 3.2 — runs locally on your device

No internet connection is required to use the AI after the initial model download. No query, prompt, or response is ever transmitted to any external server.

4. Documents and Files

When you import documents (PDF, TXT, etc.) into the app, those files are processed entirely on your device. The text is extracted and stored locally in your app's private storage. No document content is ever uploaded, shared, or transmitted externally.

5. Advertising

OfflinePrivate AI displays banner and interstitial advertisements via Google AdMob to keep the app free. Google AdMob may collect certain device information (such as advertising identifiers) in accordance with their own privacy policy, solely for the purpose of serving relevant ads. Ad data is handled entirely by Google and is completely separate from any app content, chat history, or documents. We do not share any app data with advertisers.

6. Local Storage

The app uses your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) to save:

• Your app settings and preferences
• Conversation history
• Imported document text

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

7. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Google AdMob for advertising. No analytics, crash reporting, or tracking services are used.

8. Children's Privacy

OfflinePrivate AI is suitable for all ages (4+). Since we collect no personal data, there is no risk to children's privacy.

9. Data Security

Because no data ever leaves your device, the security of your conversations and documents depends entirely on the security of your iPhone — protected by iOS's built-in security, Face ID/Touch ID, and app sandboxing.

10. Your Rights (GDPR / LGPD)

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or export. Your privacy is protected by design — not by policy.
